The terms for using Action and subscribing to Action Pro.

01Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Action ("the app") and Action Pro, provided by Vyakran Objects Design Pvt. Ltd. ("VOD," "we," "us," "our"). By downloading, installing, purchasing, or using Action, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or subscribe.

Action is distributed through the Mac App Store. Your license to use the app is governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Apple Standard EULA"). These Terms supplement the Apple Standard EULA with Action Pro subscription terms and rules for using Action. If these Terms conflict with the Apple Standard EULA on licensing, the Apple Standard EULA controls.

02Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent where you live, to use Action or subscribe to Action Pro; if that minimum age is higher than 13 where you live, you must meet it. By using Action, you confirm you meet this requirement. If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms limits any statutory right you have under the law of your country of residence, including rights that cannot be waived by agreement.

03License

Subject to the Apple Standard EULA and these Terms, you may use Action for personal or business purposes on Apple-branded products you own or control, including access by associated accounts through Family Sharing where Apple and the subscription configuration permit it.

04Action Pro subscription

Action's core recording tools are free. Action Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks Script and Talking Points teleprompter modes, voice following, on-device script drafting, live captions, and Pro recording quality: resolutions above 1080p, 60 fps where the selected capture mode supports it, HEVC, and HDR in Screen Only mode when HEVC is selected and Live Captions are off. Cursor effects and the Notes teleprompter remain available without Pro. Action Pro is offered in two plans:

Both plans belong to the same subscription group, so you can hold only one active plan at a time; switching plans is a cross-grade or upgrade, not a new purchase, and takes effect according to Apple's subscription-change rules.

Billing and auto-renewal

Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew for the same duration unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price you agreed to when subscribing, subject to any price-change notice or consent Apple requires.

Managing and cancelling

You manage and cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account: open the App Store app, select your account, then Subscriptions, and choose Action Pro. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Action Pro access for the remainder of the paid period. Action does not process refunds directly. You may request one from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, subject to Apple's policies and applicable law.

Family Sharing

Action Pro supports Family Sharing where Apple's platform allows it, so an active subscription can be shared with your family group per Apple's Family Sharing terms.

What happens if you cancel

If your Action Pro subscription ends, Pro-only features become unavailable, but your recordings, notes, and scripts already saved on your Mac are never deleted, hidden, or held for ransom — Action never restricts access to content you already created.

05Your recordings and content

Recordings, scripts, and notes you create in Action are yours. VOD claims no ownership over them and does not receive your recordings. You are responsible for your content and for obtaining the rights, notices, and consents required to record or distribute it, including consent from people who appear or are heard. Optional speech recognition may submit microphone audio to Apple as described in the Privacy Policy.

06Acceptable use

You agree not to: reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of Action except where applicable law or applicable open-source licenses permit; use Action to record or distribute unlawful, infringing, or harmful content; interfere with the app's operation; or attempt to circumvent its subscription mechanism. You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using Apple services, Freesound content, or other services with Action.

07Third-party services and content

Apple provides app distribution, StoreKit billing, speech recognition, and certain on-device model features under Apple's terms. Optional music may come from Freesound and is subject to the license displayed for that track. Availability of third-party services can change and may depend on your device, region, language, account, or internet connection. VOD is not responsible for third-party services, except to the extent applicable law requires.

08Intellectual property

Action's software, design, trademarks, and logos are owned by VOD or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Other than the limited license granted under the Apple Standard EULA and these Terms, no rights to VOD's intellectual property are transferred to you. This section does not affect your ownership of your own recordings, scripts, and notes described above.

09Disclaimer of warranties

Action is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every Mac configuration, and we do not warrant the outcome of any recording, transcription, or AI-assisted feature.

10Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VOD is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, recordings, revenue, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use Action. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11Termination

You may stop using Action and delete it at any time. We may suspend or discontinue the app or any feature, including Action Pro, with reasonable notice where required by law; active subscriptions are handled per Apple's policies and the terms above.

12Changes to these terms

If these Terms change, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date above. Continuing to use Action after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes will be reflected in a future app update.

13Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer-protection law requires otherwise. Subject to that exception, any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Action is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of India.
